Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of PromptShelf, a macOS menu bar app published by BeeCrow, LLC ("we", "our"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app

PromptShelf stores text snippets locally and copies them to your clipboard on demand, with optional {{variable}} placeholders. It is free and requires no account.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use PromptShelf for personal or commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or remove proprietary notices from the app itself.

3. Your content

The snippets you create are yours. They stay on your Mac; we never receive, store, or claim any rights to them. You are responsible for the content you store and for not using the app to handle content you have no right to use.

PromptShelf, its name, and its design are owned by BeeCrow, LLC. These Terms grant you no rights to our trademarks or source code.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEECROW, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Because PromptShelf is provided free of charge, our total liability is limited to USD $0.

8. App Store

If you obtained PromptShelf from the Mac App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple is not responsible for the app.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
